Receive Email Updates from CDOT on Road Conditions/Closings

Postby The Old Fart » Thu Sep 27, 2012 8:26 am

CDOT offers a service that will automatically email or text message information about road conditions, closings, seasonal closing of mountain passes, and the like.
That includes Mt. Evans Road, Trail Ridge Road, etc.

You can go to https://public.govdelivery.com/accounts/CODOT/subscriber/new and sign up, then set your preferences.
You can designate what roads or what parts of Colorado you want messages for.
It can be very useful, even just for you daily work commute, but especially for mountain roads and passes.

If you find yourself getting more notifications than you can delete in 2 minutes, just sign in and change your preferences.

That's great. Thank you!

I'm signed up for this and it is very helpful, on a daily basis for my commute and for long trips in the mountains.
