Help With Business Name

Postby ColoradoGuy » Thu Aug 30, 2012 12:15 pm

I feel embarrassed to ask this, but if anyone can help me, it would probably some of you in this forum.

I'm starting a new business, a private counseling practice (the mental health type), and I don't know what to name my business. Most counseling agencies have a feel-good, warm-fuzzy type of name, but that doesn't suit me. I want to go with a mountain term, and not just something common like "Mountain View Counseling" or "Summit Counseling." I want to go with an amazing, lesser-known term that only the mountaineering community would probably know. A few examples of my ideas:

Arete Counseling Services
Talus Field Counseling
Glacial Couloir Counseling

Have any good ideas? Throw them out there. Food and beer in Buena Vista is on me if I pick your idea! :)

How about "Crazy Woman Gulch" Counseling?

East side of the Animas across from the Cascade site.

"Off-Piste" would be a good one for you Steve. It's really a skiing term, but it refers to skiing in areas that are off the beaten path. It's used a lot with ski mountaineers and backcountry skiers.

Throwing the bone for the dog I see two passing lights
Well, I wonder where that driver's bound
