Malcolm Daly to speak in Douglas County

Post by MtnClimber82 »

Douglas County Search and Rescue is hosting Malcolm Daly tomorrow night. He is coming down to recount the story of his 1999 Alaskan climbing accident and ensuing rescue (including actual rescue footage), we want your company!

This will be a fun, relaxing evening filled with epic stories and good people. BYOB, event starts at 7pm and will go until 9pm or so.

FREE OF CHARGE (just like Search and Rescue in Colorado!)

We will be at the Highlands Ranch Law Enforcement Training Facility in Douglas County which is just south of Titan Road and Hwy 83.

PM me if you need more information.

If you aren't sure who Malcolm is, here is a quick blurb about him on climbing.com

Pretty cool, I would like to hear Malcom Daly, still don't trust those Big Bros (I'm not as bold a Leubben), but still a cool guy. Unfortunately I try to avoid Highlands Ranch like the plague, that and it's also a bit far from Evergreen.

Enjoy the talk, sounds like an interesting lecture and slide show!

That is fine that you can't come, but I have to say, you actually don't even hardly enter Highlands Ranch and you live closer than I do (from downtown Evergreen) and it is my SAR team! haha. Cheers

Just a "bump" and a reminder that tonight's presentation by Malcolm Daly at the DCSAR meeting is free & open to the public. If anyone's interested, please show up!

It's sure to be a great presentation, as well as an opportunity to meet DCSAR team members. Perhaps some of you may even consider becoming prospective members :)
