Stoked El Diente worked out for you, Fire. Looks good.

Silverton area was still holding on to a couple of gems. http://14erskiers.com/blog/2012/05/silverton-finale-un-13434-and-mount-rhoda/

Some good looking lines here. I'll add some lame ones. Also, anybody know if the Boudoir on Horseshoe is at least doable?

Observations from this weekend:
-Arkansas N Couloir in (choke and approaches are mostly dry)
Image

-Wheeler SE Couloirs patchy, NE couloirs mostly in
-Democrat N Couloir mostly in
-Thunder Pyramid White couloir in (right branch is nicer)
-S Maroon Cord and SE couloir in
Image

-Lightning Pyramid couloirs mostly in
Image

-Pikes Peak N side couloirs patchy and thin but doable for the desperate.

Thanks dude! I actually was reading your TR on the line couple nights ago. I thought I was quite proficient at boarding, but damnnn, you guys are nuts o.

I went up with Porzak and every now and then we'd get past a section and I'd look down and be like, "So you're really going to ski this part??"

Climbed Atlantis today with friend Jake. The snow was good to within about ten feet of top on the right branch. The Left branch looked a little dicey. There was still enough snow below the Atlantic/Pacific saddle to glissade the worst of it.

Dead Dog update - still continuous from the summit. I skied off the summit at 9:30AM and thought the snow was pretty good. A few minutes later may not have been as good. Runnels down near the bottom of the couloir were slightly annoying but not a major issue. Dress light if it's not going to be a cloudy / windy day... the sun on your backs can be pretty strong throughout.

Approaching the basin between C & D was not a problem. Snow in couloir in good shape, but not continuous. Ridge to summit is dry and it's fun scrambling.

Wow Darin. That's a depressing shot of Piney. That's probably normal for mid-July, but that's crazy for June 2nd.

Yup, and I think the W couloir on Pk D had as much snow in it last October than it does now. I need to dig up those photos of Pk D from last year to compare.

Did Pk W today. Lots more snow melted out on the Pitkin trail compared to 8 days ago.

We did Cathedral Peak today, and only the top half of the gully has snow remaining.
We used crampons in the muddy dirt/scree below the snow.
Get it soon, or get ready for some loose ass scree and dirt.

Shooting Star on James Peak looked liked continuous snow as of Saturday. I didn't get a good pic. Sky Pilot was mostly in. We climbed Superstar with the 5.4 rock finish I drew on the picture below, since the top is dry.
