Re: Free Alaska GPS Maps?
This is great thanks everyone for the input this is a great start! Anyone happen to know a decent sea kayak rental places in Seward or Whittier. We would prefer to rent vs a "tour" with a group.

My husband andI camped at Millers Landing in Seward last Aug. We rented sea kayaks there and WOW!! What an awesome adventure. They rent with or without a group.

Re: Free Alaska GPS Maps?
We camped at Millers Landing 2 summers ago and took a kayak tour. First time in a kayak and it was awesome since it was just me and my wife in a tandem and the guide. Got half price since we stayed with them. For a pay campground it was a dump but still a great location. Right on the water. They wouldn't rent to us to go on our own since we didn't have self rescue training. I guess you must prove that somehow to rent. When I got home I watched a video or two on self rescue and I was disappointed that I didn't lie. Next time I'll be ready.
