Unable to register as a new member

Postby Slow Moving Fun Seeker » Mon Sep 12, 2011 2:33 pm

Hi Bill,

I have a friend who has been trying to register and receives an error message saying that: "Creating a new account is currently not possible. More Info..."

Is there something she needs to do to make the registration work (like enabling cookies, etc.)?

Thanks.

Best regards,

Jay

Sorry about that. I left the house in a daze at 4am this morning and forgot to activate the registration process.

It's open now and will be through Wednesday.

Bill, as someone who also works with websites, I'm curious why you have a separate process for registration that needs to be started periodically.

It keeps out 6/7ths of the spam robots if registration is only open one day per week.

Thanks Bill. I'll email her to get registered tomorrow.
