"Votes are still being tabulated. We will announce a winner as soon as we can."

But if they were up 34% vs 27%, I think it would have taken a real coup to unseat them in the final minutes, especially considering the autism charity was in New York, where it's too late for people to be up and not out drinking. :)

Anyone else feel a little bit guilty for stealing the autistic kids' car though? All worthy non-profits, but damn...

Haha, I'm from Kansas City too, and that sounds about like my summer!

What goes into tabulating an internet poll? Look, see CFI had the most votes, give CFI a truck...come on, Toyota!

Yeah these are all a bunch of good causes, and its unfortunate that they can't all get something, but to help alleviate your conscience some, when looking at winners so far by category...

Animal Welfare & Wildlife - 5 Winners
Arts & Culture - 1 Winner
Education - 2 Winners
Environment - 0 Winners
Health and Safety - 3 Winners
Human Services - 14 Winners
Other - 6 Winners

Environment has been due for a win, and glad that we got it here in CO!

From reading the contest rules, it looks like they probably go through and look for automated voting cheaters and stuff like that. They do allow themselves up to 72 hours to determine the winner for each day.

Maybe the Toyota folks are all gone for the weekend?!

Also, I just noticed that Wednesday's contest day also says "still being tabulated" but the Thursday contest has an announced winner. Hmm

Thanks SO much to everyone that participated!

There's no question they will put the truck to good use on 14er projects. We all win when the CFI has more to work with.
