A tough day on the mountain!

Postby Tjohn67238 » Thu Apr 21, 2011 6:39 pm

I hope no one has had THIS problem while going up a mountain. Maybe too close to a nest?

I saw this today, thought it was a great picture.

I'm slow and fat. Unfortunately, those are my good qualities.

Let's give him credit for wearing a helmet.

This happens when I go running, especially in Highlands Ranch.
A certain kind of jay dive-bombs me, presumably when I'm close to a nest.
H-R has very few big trees. the birds nest in bushes, eaves, open fields.

Maybe red-winged blackbirds. I've often gotten harassed by them in the past.

Yeah, red-winged blackbirds are notorious for harassing folks and not just because they're close to nests. The birds are just territorial.
