Are you a Colorado native (doesn't apply for Josh)?

Postby tmathews » Sun Feb 13, 2011 12:17 pm

How many of us are a Colorado native (actually born here)? I moved here when I was two years and seven months old, so Colorado is the only place that I have a memory of. I'm not exactly a native, but I suppose I consider myself "naturalized".

Where are you from originally?

Florida I guess, it's where I grew up, but I've lived in Oklahoma, Hawaii, Georgia, North Carolina, Idaho, Oregon and Colorado.

My sister was born here in Fort Collins though, but my parents moved to OK just a few months before I was born so I just barely missed the "native" status.

I'll be here for a maximum of 5 years while I finish grad school, I'm kind of hoping for either Washington or Montana for the next state :)

First 18 years in Minnesota. Then Texas, Alaska, and FINALLY Colorado. I believe I am here to stay.

Fourth generation Denver native. It's amazing how much the front range has grown in just my lifetime.

No. Southern Indiana originally. But I do think that one is born again when moving to CO.

My son Miles (1 year old) is a native. I live vicariously through him.
