One of our best trips ever

Post by Scott P »

I finally finished our trip report for the Malaysia-Indonesia trip last month:

It was a great trip complete with monkeys, orangutans, climbing mountains, caving, river rafting with some volcanic eruptions thrown in for good measure.

Your kids are incredibly lucky to have parents that take them on trips like this. Memories for a lifetime. By the way, you interested in another son? I'd even mow the lawn without complaining :)

Weren't you on a mountain a few years ago in S America or somewhere- and you had to leave early and get off the peak quick from another eruption?
Yes; back when my son was five:

This time, on Krakatau we had planned to see the volcano and from a safe distance. The eruption in 2007 wasn't planned.

Scott: Great report and how many eruptions are planned? Just poking fun at you. Your family is lucky to have you as their son, father, and husband. Stay safe.

Thanks.

I wish we had more time to see more things when we were down there.
