This is why I chose Elbert for my engagement spot. Sleep deprivation and altitude to confuse her and make her agree to things she otherwise wouldn't agree to. 343257 other people on the summit to help me find it if I had dropped it.

My wedding ring is somewhere in the Ingraham Glacier on Rainier. I'm sure that there many engagement and wedding rings out there on the peaks.

It might be good to take a metal detector up to the top of Grand Teton to probe all of the cracks and crevices. I fortunately still have my wedding ring. After a few days of dehydration and inadequate amount of calories on a big expedition, my fingers do shrink.
