Congratulations Axel, very prodigious! We're expecting you to be in Harvard by the age of 12.

I wrote these words about my Grandfather: "He started me early. I was barely in school, hiking along railroad tracks. Then high into the mountains and deep into the woods; and, then, always safely back."

(And for a moment I was six again. Standing near the trestle with an Pop as an L&N Passenger train sped by toward Knoxville. Standing with an older man who was several years younger than I am now. The power of our memories.)

I'd like to sincerely congratulate both of you!

All the Best Always,

Kenneth

Congrats to Axel and family. Awesome accomplishment and every bit of it looks like fun, not a list to check off. You are an inspiration to us all. And Dad, you are an inspiration to us other fathers eagerly waiting for our children to be old enough to join us in the mountains. When my little guy is ready, I will come asking for all your wisdom of how you hike with your sons!
