from Jim and Christina...we were the couple you and Andrew met on the Eolus / Windom / Sunlight trip !

We're still only at 24 and have a few more years to go to finish them all.

All the best to you !

I think we saw you on the way up saturday! We summited at 3PM in a huge snowstorm and made it back to the trailhead by 8:30...man it was rough. What time did you summit? We passed two groups coming down in the amphitheatre as we were heading up.

Anyways, congrats!

Congrats Jordan! Let me know what you are up to with winter ascents, I would like to try and get a few in winter myself. Elbert in winter has eluded me twice and is high on my winter to-do list!

We summited at 8:15 AM in a nice clearing that gave us great views across to the bells, but as soon as we left the summit we got a lot of snow again.

Congrats Jordan... That is pretty awesome.. I probably have about 5 years until I finish them....
On my first take-off, I hit second gear and went through the speed limit on a two-lane blacktop highway full of ranch traffic. By the time I went up to third, I was going 75 and the tach was barely above 4000 rpm....
And that's when the Ducati got its second wind. From 4000 to 6000 in third will take you from 75 mph to 95 in two seconds - and after that, Bubba, you still have fourth, fifth, and sixth. Ho, ho.

Congrats Jordan. Looks like we finished our 14er quests on the same day! I had it a little easier though. Tabeguache in the snow.

Yeah congrats to you as well, I'm thinking of continuing on with the centennials if you ever need a climbing partner.

Yeah, hopefully some of this snow melts because it could make a speed ascent harry.

CONGRATULATIONS!!! Something I aspire to do, having only completed 15 i have a ways to go, but your profile and experiences are definitely inspiring!! :!:
I've heard the organization that sponsers the registries on the summits send you a plaque upon completion of all the mountains they consider fourteeners....is this true??
