I saw this too. Some posts had intelligent responses, others suggested a careless or flippant attitude toward potential dangers in the high country. The forum here is far superior to postings in the Post because we've been there and have much to contribute to the concept of safety first on the 14ers and elsewhere. We have suffered the loss of brother/sister climbers-in-arms and grieved with their families - adding to the human experience of hiking the high country.
Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatever state I am, therewith to be content - Paul the Apostle.
Like it or not, I am a slow driver. Putt ... putt ... putt ...
