13er List Rankings?

Any reason Golden Horn is ranked 116 instead of 119 at 13ers.com?

On lists of john, it's rated at 116, but with an elevation of 13,780 ft. Maybe there was a typo in the 13ers list? On peakbagger.com, its elevation is in a closed contour between 13,760 and 13,800 ft. 13,780 would be the average between the two, putting it at 116 on the 13ers.com list. Maybe that's why there's some discrepancy in its elevation, the summit being between two contours, but not having a specific benchmarked height other than that.

13780 would be the interpolated elevation between the two contour lines, aka #116 or tied. 13765 is probably someone's updated guess as to the elevation, though it could just be a typo. Mostly this just highlights the uncertainty in any ranking system.

With the 13ers.com changes, the current link to the list showing Golden Horn out of order is here:

Elevation and or rank still the same, though the URL has changed.

Sure glad you reminded him of this critical issue in need of resolution. I was sleeping poorly waiting for something to happen.

As usual, you're a godsend, TG.
