Bicentennial Finisher Mtnman200!!

Post by CarpeDM »

Congrats to Mtnman200 (Eddie) for climbing all 202 peaks on the list of Bicentennials!!!

Quite an accomplishment - especially when you consider that he did 201 of them as a non-Colorado resident. He's been hiking these mountains since before the guidebooks and trails. And he got to share the summit of number 202 with one of his main hiking partners, his son Randy.

Woohoo!

Congrats on the finish! What was the last one? I can't even imagine trying for the bicentennials if you don't live in Colorado.

Congratulations Eddie! The top 200 is such a sweet accomplishment. Kudos to your group on getting Fifteen, too.

Jon, I believe Eddie's last one was Peak Fifteen.

Sounds like a busy finishing day on a peak that sees few over the years. Cheers to you and your sons! Perseverance!

Wow, Can't imagine the dedication it took. Good Job!
The summit is a source of power. The long view gives one knowledge and time to prepare. The summit, by virtue of the dizzying exposure, leaves one vulnerable. A bit of confidence and a dash of humility is all we get for our work. Yet to share these moments with friends is to be human. C. Anker

Very impressive and an accomplishment that is beyond the abilities of a lot of us. Congratulations.
BTW, can someone share: what is the hardest of the official bicentennials? Are there mountains tougher than Dallas in the 101-200 range? Lizard Head is further down the list, right?
