Mt. Ouray from Little Cochetopa

Nearly every trip report and description of Mt. Ouray is from Marshall Pass. I was wondering about the Little Cochetopa Creek approach. How is the road, what is the climb like, is there camping at the TH or along the trail and how might the fishing be?

Thanks for any input.

Little Cochetopa Creek approach:

The road is 4wd, and there are camping spots along the road. Don't know any specifics about climbing Ouray from there, but I imagine it would be a steep hump to get up to the NE ridge.

I have read that the suggested route from there is up to the 'pass' on the divide, south to the west ridge, then down the n.e. ridge as optional descent.
