Looking for a 14er climbing partner May 20-24ish

Postby danieljinsa » Sun May 12, 2013 2:25 pm

I live in Texas and am visiting Colorado. I'll be in the Breckenridge area, staying at the Spa and Lodge at Breckenridge. So Lincoln, Democrat , Bross, Quandry, Sherman et all are possibilites. I'm new to mountain climbing, but have extensive experience with hiking. Also did some Class 5's here at Enchanted Rock. If you'd like to help me up my first 14er or two in that date range (May 20-May 24) I'd be very appreciative! Shoot me a message, or post on this thread. Thanks.

Also, if anyone has a climb (class 2-3 13ers without too much exposure included) theyve been itching to do within an hours radius of Breckridge I'd be interested. Really, just want to experience being in and up the mountains, but not quite risk it going alone

I might be interested if we get enuff snow melt by then (the trails will still be muddy and maybe icy enuff for "snow" gear). Please PM me.

There will be a lot of snow in mountains north of I-50. Evans and Meeker-Longs are still totally blanketed with snow from recent storms. Not that much will melt in ten days.
