Now just to find something to climb on saturday... Bierstadt, Quandry, suggestions...?

I may be interested in an overnighter for Bierstadt or Quandry on Saturday 26th and then camp overnight for Kelso on Sunday.

I'm expecting to hike up the entire road, so I'm not going to even bother taking my truck. I'm think TH (bottom of the road off from I70) around 7ish? I'm not up for an early morning.

Just a thought, but if you're planning on Kelso, why not just hike up the road and camp at the summer TH of Stevens Gulch? Then hike Grays and/or Torreys for your Saturday hike? Save you some distance on Sunday, and its a nice place to camp.

Still planning on Kelso Sunday morning, starting from the TH (well, the lot off from I70 before heading up the road) at 7:00AM. I'm taking my car (black Jetta) and so far I am with one person for sure. A couple of others arent sure. So if someone wanted to meet at Trex at 6:00AM I can probably take someone else with. Let me know or PM me, otherwise I'll probably just head straight up in the morning.

Im looking to climb Sherman via iowa gulch tomorrow morning. My partners bailed on me cause they like Beaver Creek groomers and cookies at 3. Anyone want to join? I live in Eagle-Vail so I cant help with a ride but I enjoy sarcasm and sharing oatmeal cream pies.

Was interested in joining for Kelso on Sunday but considering the weather and possible weather-induced I-70 traffic I'll pass. Have fun up there and be safe...

I might be interested as well - depending on the weather on Sunday.

Nice seeing everyone today. 4 of us ended up making the trip, but turned around 300' and 0.5 miles from the summit due to conditions. Oh well...next time! Still a great day out.

Gentlemen,
It was a great pleasure hiking with you. It was certainly an interesting day due to weather. Personally, I was surprised we made it that far. Please keep me in mind for future hikes.

. . . . Kimo, beautiful shot. Stark, classic, simple, power point thirds. Love it.
