Adjusting Black Diamond Whippet Grip

Post by cascadecoach »

I own a Black Diamond Whippet Carbon fiber pole, and I would like to adjust the height of the secondary "choke up" grip, used for traversing steeper slopes. I cannot seem to move it by hand, and I am wondering if it is glued to the pole? Does anyone know a good way to move the grip up on the pole? I have thought to put it in a vice, or fashion a homemade one out of a bike handlebar grip.
