It's also hard to call it a "cleanse." Fiber is certainly good for you, but it's always better to try to increase your nutrients (including fiber) in your diet before adding supplementation. If after improving your diet, you still suffer from constipation, then adding supplemental psyllium is reasonable. But if your bowels function regularly and your regular diet includes foods that are high in fiber, it's quite unnecessary.
