Outdoor research mutant mitts???

Outdoor research mutant mitts???

I found some good prices on some mutant mitts ( 22 bucks ) does anyone have any mountain time with them?? Thanks

I had some a few years ago and my index finger was forever cold. I'm sure they work great if you need to use a rifle, but i didn't notice any dexterity advantage with having my index finger on its own. the only time i really enjoyed them was when i was carrying an axe. I could put my index finger on one side of the shaft and wrap my other 3 fingers on the other side. this way was much more comfortable than using full mitts and trying to handle an axe.
