My gear is pretty well organized, but its all over the place because I don't have enough storage in one location. I am hoping my new place will have a garage, then I will turn it into a gear loft. My laundry closet has all my backpacks, tents, rock gear and my ice axes and crampons. My spare bedroom has the sleeping bags/pads and climbing ropes, my car has my "car camping" gear (literally "sleeping in the trunk" gear) and then my entry closet has my skis and boots.

As for a quiver I have 5 pairs of Alpine and a pair of Nordic racing skis. I probably have more than I need, I think I could get it down to 4 pair of Alpine

I use the storage for the Garage Sale at REI for my closet. REI doesn't know I know how to get in... (don't tell them). So, I'd take pictures, but I don't want you all to be jealous.

Wow!

I use my living room as a gear closet, it is the biggest room in my house and the only furniture is a weight bench and a desk that has dozens of quad maps on it. The rest of my gear is distributed about the room.

I'm like you - more so. In fact, I can not render a singular picture of all my gear because it is strewn all over my house and garage. That's what happens when you acquire 3+ of everything (packs, tents, skis, bikes, stoves, boots, long underwear, etc.).

Yes, that's how I was. That's why I started to put it all in one room so I at least knew what room to go to when I'm packing.
