You are correct. Unclegar was prolly about to pass out last night when he posted this..... from fatigue that is.

Fixed it for you. You did say it needed to be rotated CCW?

In my defense (sort of) I will say that was the way the photo was taken ... my photoshop skills are lacking far too much to do a realistic rotation.

The clouds were obviously 'shopped in the version you posted, but I found the original:

Much better!
I am unable to walk away from the mountain without climbing it. An unclimbed mountain tugs at my consciousness with the eternal weight of time itself. Until I've pressed my face into it's alpine winds, hugged it's ancient granite walls, and put it's weathered summit beneath my heal I'm unable to resist it's attraction.Knowing nature gives the mountain more time than she gives us adds urgency to the obsession. As has been said before; the mountain doesn't care.

It can wait forever. I cannot.

Lol. If you think Mizz is that steep, don't ski in the Sangres.

Not the best quality, as this is a scan from an old slide. Picture is circa 1978. I asked my wife, Jessie_s Mom, to pose for a picture at Island in the Sky, not knowing that she was perched above this drop-off. She did not have the perspective of the overhang that I had. Surprisedly we are still married, and it made a good shot.
Note: High Tech hiking gear for that time. Italian hiking boots. $60.00 purchased in NYC as there were not many stores around selling gear. They were sturdy, but heavy. Actually, I wish I still had mine

Haven't hiked in the Sangres at all yet so I don't know the steepness. Mizz was early in my snow-climbing career (not that it has been much of a career). The steepest thing I have climbed in snow so far is the Conundrum Col - I need friends who aren't lazy and will get up before 10:00 AM on ski days.

Diving board on back side of Fisher Valley near our camp on Kokopelli Trail. Overhung 8-10'. After looking the pics, I'm not sure I would repeat it as close to the thin tip as I did.
