Who's ready for Summer?

Postby Kane » Wed Apr 10, 2013 7:24 pm

Zipping through some old images I put this one together today. I'm assuming this one might make a few of you dream a little for warm temps....

I'm drooling all over my monitor. Makes me want to build an alpine time machine and set the controls for the heart of July. \:D/

Yes, yes and yes! 8)

YAY for sipping Colorado microbrews on patios, riding bikes, soaking up sun, driving over scenic mountain passes, wildflowers, thunderstorms, swimming, camping, and long, warm days! \:D/

I've been ready for Summer ever since last Summer ended. Being in Kansas, Summer is my 14er season! We had a bit of an ice storm yesterday which added to my annoyance with this "Spring".

Ready for the end of skiing, oppressive heat, wildfires, and dusty, blown out trails? I think not.

Bah, humbug.

very true.

Spring can be OK, though.
Summer is good when it's not too hot and we are not burning or gasping for air.

With the low snowpack we have, this summer is not looking good, unlike those nice pics.

Anyone rememeber the terrible air we had along the front range for like almost the whole summer from multiple forest fires ?

Why hike downhill, when you can ski?
