Looking for Input on a New Camera

My camera died recently. It was a Canon Supershot 780iS. I loved it b/c it fit nicely in the arm pocket of my jacket, simple to use and nice pics. I'm quite impressed with many of the pics posted on 14ers.com, and wonder with all of the options (bells, whistles), if you can give me suggestions on a camera still small/simple wiithout compromising quality. I know, I want it all.

For a small point and shoot around $300 USD, these are tough to beat.
