How is the snow on the pass? Most areas skiable?

Personallly I would not ski at Berthoud Pass this early fear of hitting a downed tree or a rock, but there were people all over the pass both north and south side down to the road.

They got about 8 inches up there Saturday into Sunday, that helped a lot.

*edit* By 'helped' I mean covered. I was out of the country for a couple weeks, and lost track of what the weather was doing here. I assume this new snow fell on some nasty old faceted snow? Can anyone comment on what the snowpack is like up there?

I was up there Saturday and Sunday practicing multi-burial rescues and making some turns. It's still pretty thin. Didn't get too creative with where we went looking for snow though. Felt confident opening it up on Mainline but the Plunge was sketchy. Only picture I got kinda shows the thin coverage (but plenty of smiling faces nonetheless):
