Thanks, Kiefer! There are no forests without water, few mountains without ice. Its power stirs the soul.
The Canary Islands are a special place. The tajinaste rojo (red bugloss) looks remarkably similar to the Haleakala Silversword on Maui. Island life...gotta love it.
Here are a couple pics taken yesterday along the Fourth of July road leaving Indian Peaks.

Something that beautiful should have a name! Amazing the contrast in blue tones from sky to water......did you use a polarizing filter?

Yes, I used my trusty Sigma and a circular polarizer.
