This is a tough loss for the climbing community. We mourn.
It is an even tougher loss, I'm sure, for the paramedic community...and those who he served.
I hope the worthy mission of his life's work brings comfort to those who will now forever miss him.

RIP Lenny. It sounds like he left this world doing something that he loved. Condolences to his family and friends.

Certainly happy that the other two missing climbers were found safely. Be careful out there.

Peace be on him, his family, his firefighter brethren and all those who loved him. I hate hearing stories like this.

I'm very saddened to hear of this.

He worked at EMS Station 7 in lower midtown Manhattan, was a good athlete and an Eagle Scout
when younger.

In a sad irony, Lenny spent his career helping and saving the lives of others.

To his family, friends and coworkers: Lenny won't be forgotten.

Rest in peace.

RIP. Recently in Colorado we have had way too many reminders of how short and passing our lives can be! None of us know when our time will be up. Sad that the mountains that we love claim great people every year!
