I remember hearing about Dave years ago. One day I was at my friends sisters house and saw this northface hat that said 'talus monkey'. Told my friend the story and turns out her sisters husband was kicked out after high school and Dave took him in and kind of turned into a father figure to him. It's weird hearing the story pretty much directly from a family member. Good guy and definitely has been missed.
