This is so very sad. I was in my tent at the Meadows (a few hundred vertical below the Ledges campsites where the accident occurred) at the time of this accident waiting out the hail/rain storm. The SAR chopper flew in after the storm and the SAR members did everything they could. My sincere condolences to his family & friends.

Just coming back from here this rings close to home. This range is not forgiving. Terrain traps await at every turn. My prayers to his family and I am sorry to hear of a trip turned tragedy. What a difficult thing to be involved in.
