For every person who posts in this thread during the ACTUAL summer season, god removes a foot of snow from the winter total.
- A mountain is not a checkbox to be ticked

I'm fairly certain this isn't true.
The mountains - whose summits reach or exceed arbitrary thresholds for elevation and prominence - are calling and I must go.

Along with actual skiing, sometimes the snow can provide some pretty cool views

That snow is blocking an architecturally significant building and promoting it's decline.

Snow is detrimental.
You've never really stopped even if you feel like you have.

Steve Gladbach liked winter. I dig that about him.

He was one of the best among us. I'd like to be a lot like him when I'm older. This post is dedicated to him.
