Looks like the 14erskiers took advantage of the early snow:

I'm wayyy too excited for ski season right now. Anybody get a run down on the ribbon at The Legend this morning?

Yup, exactly 1. It was BUSY as usual. Snow was in pretty good shape for October 13th. Looking forward to Loveland tomorrow and getting a few more laps in.

Shatty pics but Red Mountain Pass got about 2.5 feet from yesterdays storm. There was some fantastic skiing in the trees!

So I am looking to ski something this Saturday before the CAIC Benefit in Breckenridge. I was thinking Quandry (E. slopes), but have no beta regarding coverage. I have one partner, but anyone is welcome to join. Any recommendations on areas/peaks that have enough snow?

If you can find something worth skiing, I'll tag along. I know 4th of July Bowl holds snow or maybe the NE face off Peak 9.

Where is this at exactly? I haven't seen any snowpack that deep yet. Not looking to go into that area (elks) at all but just curious where that's located.

Well...The mountain cams for Peak 9 are a little grainy so it is hard to tell how much coverage the NE face has. I still am unsure about the coverage on Quandry's East slope. All week the wind has been 15-20mph out of the NW, so there is a chance that Peak 9 NE slopes or Quandry E slopes collected some of that wind transport. Anybody else have beta on areas/aspects/peaks near Breck that are skiable?

Not sure of the coverage on Peak 9 or Quandry, but last sunday was pretty good..... Lord Helmut:
