Ski Friday

Postby hberry » Sun Jun 05, 2011 7:18 pm

I have Friday off (Shhh don't tell my boss 8) ) - I would like to ski something on credit (Pikes of Evans) or something close to Denver (Dead Dog or the like).

Anyone interested? If we ski Grays/Torrey's I would look to start around 2:30 or 3:00 depending on the weather forecast as we get closer.

I wholly unsure what that has to do with skiing on Friday - but I am a guy - and I like girls  =D>

I have met jameseroni, he is a married man, with a kiddo, so he better not be doing trips alone with unknown women, just saying.... :)

Sorry I ment to send that as a PM I must've hit post reply and spaced it! GP hit the nail on the head, wife wouldn't have that and I wouldn't either! Anyway I'm down most likely. Grays/torreys sounds appealing.

That's like when you accidentally hit Reply All at work and meant to just send it to one person - awkward! :D

Curious what you meant by skiing "on credit"? Late season snow? I like it

On credit means ski first climb second. You can drive to the summit so you ski from summit then climb to truck.

Evans doesn't have a great line from the summit at present. The route to the north face is very patchy in snow coverage. You could ski the trail then hike up the NE ridge like we did. (http://www.14ers.com/php14ers/tripreport.php?trip=10025 A fun day!
