Congratulations! :D

Thanks everyone! Skiing the fourteeners has been one of the best things I've ever done in my life! I've gained so much from it. I'm both glad and sad that it's done. But, I really couldn't have done it without such a solid and diverse set of partners. I really have my partners to thank for being there when I needed them to be :) TR coming hopefully soon.

Sweet. I read your Pyramid TR the other day, Brittany. That was bad-ass.

I know kudos from someone of lesser experience like me probably doesn't mean a lot, but I wanted to offer my humble congratulations. You give quite a few folks here a lot to aspire to.

Pikes peak. People who had finished skiing the 14ers generally passed down the advise NOT to save one of the harder peaks for last. But by the time I'd even thought of that, most of the easier peaks were done. Pikes peak was really the only easy peak I had left. It seemed like a good idea to try to save it for last and then have a party on top, which I did- well sort of. The party ended up being in the van after a blizzard moved in.

Now that I have finished, I have mixed feelings about the advice I was given. My ending seemed so anti-climactic with an easier peak. Honestly, it doesn't really even feel like I'm done. It's a really strange feeling!

Great job! Its a very special accomplishment to ski them all! From the few I have done, its a ton of hard work!

After reading the Pyramid TR, it seems like Pikes was an appropriate place to finish, even if it felt a little anti-climactic. I'm sure it was nice to be able to celebrate a little without having to worry so much about the difficulty of the descent. In a way it porbably felt more like a graduation party that you have a few days after you actually graduate. So I guess you could say you graduated on Pyramid, and had a nice graduation party up on Pikes :D
