The top of Almagre still appears about 75% snow-covered. I imagine north-facing slopes in the trees will build character right now. :)

Yup...Was on Mt. Rosa today via N. Ridge. Still lots of snow up there starting around 10.2K but there was an OK trench to the top and no additional gear was required however it looked like someone had a stellar day up there post holing.

Old stage road / Gold Camp road has been recently graded.
