Hey Bill, I'm having the same problem as Rinehart, I can't update my peaklist page, or post a comment on TRs. I am running safari as well.

Hey Bill,

Just discovered this is a problem when I run Safari, too. No problem when on Explorer, but in Safari, I only see the "Comments or Questions" Bar and any comments. Doesn't go down far enough to see the "Log On" button.

Below is kind of what I am seeing from a page print.

Peak checklist is still working for me. Running Safari 4.

Thank you Bill, it works just fine now!

Strike that. I just logged on to vote for a TR and now cannot post a comment, again.

I've noticed that this isn't Safari-specific, because I had the same problem with trip report pages when I used Safari before switching to Firefox.
A truncated view on TR comments happens to me from time to time with Firefox, too, but not nearly as often.
With either one, clicking "refresh" usually restores normalcy. If that doesn't work, closing the window, then opening the page again usually does the trick.
Does this happen to anyone using windows?

Hey Rinehart18, I am on the same version as you. Since I haven't had the need to update my peaks checklist, I haven't tried until now. All I get is a blank screen. Similar to what I was getting earlier when checking other people's checklists.

Out of curiosity, I opened up Safari and was both able to view checklists and comment on TRs.

I'll update to the latest verion of Safari (4.0.2) and see if I can replicate the problem. Sorry for the issues.

Ok, I've identified a small piece of Java code that is used in a few areas of the site (including the peak checklist entry and tripreport display pages) that seems to bother the new versions of Safari and Chrome.

I just upcated the peak checklist entry page and the trip report display and will go through the site to check for other instances.

Let me know if you're still having this problem with the peak checklist and trip report pages.

Sorry!

Didn't know there was a 4.0.2. Just updated and I can now make comments (not sure if that was your change or other), but still get a blank screen when updating the peaks checklist.

Try clearing your browser cache and then updating your list again. You probably had a copy right before I moved over the lastest updates.
