The Forest Service did the new trail design to put it exactly where they think the trail should be for maximum sustainability, so I view as highly unlikely that they would ever swap the land.

I have 8 of the 14ers left to finish the list. These will get done this year. I am going on a 3 week ski trip starting Jan 27. I will be skiing some areas I have never skied but want to....Sun Valley, Jackson Hole, Taos, and will also be going to Aspen, Crested Butte, and Telluride, which I have skied. I have been skiing for 50 years. I will be knocking off more State high points.

My biggest goal...an even more simple life, less consumerism, smaller footprint. More riding the bike, less working, more volunteering, less criticism.

That all sounds great, oldschool, but did you mean to post this in the other topic "2017 Goals"? :)

By the way, we're going to try Sun Valley this year for the first time as well. \:D/
