Southern Sawatch Conditions

Postby Cthulhu 2008 » Fri Oct 04, 2013 5:16 pm

Any boots on the ground today? Launching tomorrow mid-morning to try and finish the bottom third of the Nolan's course (Yale to Shavano) over two days. Wondering how much snow to expect Saturday morning.

Thanks. Andy

Yale had no snow yesterday, Thursday. Not sure if that helps.

Got plans to do Missouri in the morning. On Monday there was snow on the ground from about 12k' and up on Missouri's east side.

Shavano- Princeton look pretty dry, except the north sides above 12 K.

Was up Shavano and Tabeguache yesterday, no new snow, there was a little from the storm last week but it is crusty and you can walk on it. but 99% of the hike i didnt see any snow.
