Its not a national park, it should be open.

Shouldn't be. The TH isn't in a National Park. I don't think "Wilderness areas" are shut down.

My guess is that it's only places that collect revenue.. RMNP, possibly IPW. In fact, does anyone know if Indian Peaks is closed too?

I was eyeing Navajo or something else up there..

This is the latest info I can see:
http://www.fs.usda.gov/detail/arp/news-events/?cid=STELPRDB5437521

May be a little dicey in places from potential flood damage last month.

Floods did not affect the Sangres.
I am unable to walk away from the mountain without climbing it. An unclimbed mountain tugs at my consciousness with the eternal weight of time itself. Until I've pressed my face into it's alpine winds, hugged it's ancient granite walls, and put it's weathered summit beneath my heal I'm unable to resist it's attraction.Knowing nature gives the mountain more time than she gives us adds urgency to the obsession. As has been said before; the mountain doesn't care.

It can wait forever. I cannot.

Oh sorry, I was referring to the IPW question.

The direction is to close all facilities. That means bathrooms, offices, developed campgrounds. I don't think the campsites up toward s. colony TH would qualify as developed. My guess is it should be open; but i don't work out of that district, so i can't know for sure.
