I'm curious as well, as I'm heading up to Horseshoe and neighboring 13ers tomorrow. Hopefully, we'll get some beta on snow conditions.

A friend and I did Horseshoe, Peerless and Sheridan today. Round trip: 4hrs. Super windy. Sherman looked fine. Take a kite with you and have fun!

Was there enough snow/ice on the ridge to warrant microspikes?

Maybe in the morning. I didn't carry microspikes or an axe. We didn't start until 12pm.

Did any of you end up climbing Sherman or neighboring peaks (including Gemini and Dyer) today? I'm headed up there tomorrow--any last minute condition updates are appreciated.

Thanks

Just got back from a trip to the Mosquito range, attempting to climb Horseshoe, Finnback Knob and Peerless. The wind on the ridge was just brutal so I didn't even attempt the traverse to Finnback. Snow wasn't an issue at all but the wind chill was bad enough to freeze the water in my camelbak. I was glad to bag two and get off that ridge. Hope conditions are better tomorrow.

GFS models showing jet right over CO this week. Guess ya'll already figured that out. : (

Models are waffling a bit for late week - could get decreased winds by F/Sa. And possibly some snow Th into F.
