I hiked Mount Massive on Sunday (10/14) via the Southwest Slopes and there wasn't any snow until you were above treeline. Even then the snow wasn't that deep, maybe a few inches but sometimes a little deeper where the snow collected because of the wind. There definitely appeared to be more snow on the West side once I reached the saddle between Massive and South Massive. I'll post a trip report later this week.

A-Basin opened a few minutes ago. Here's hoping this year has more and better snow than last.

This morning in Breckenridge... about 3 inches new, enough to cover the pup! He is a Happy Dog!
