Just want to give everyone a heads up on what the 2011 Peak Steward Program will look like. If you're looking to get a bit more out of your climbs and really take the opportunity to educate hikers that don't know about the fragility of alpine ecosystems, please consider becoming a Peak Steward with the Colorado Fourteeners Initiative. There will be five seperate opportunities to attend a training this June and July and CFI asks each Peak Steward to volunteer at least 4 times throughout the hiking season. These are two-day trainings that take place in both a classroom and out in the field.
