Marmots Beware!

Postby Greenhouseguy » Thu Jun 18, 2009 5:11 pm

We officially have a wolverine in Colorado now. There have been plenty of rumors of wolverines around here, but the D.O.W. would never confirm them. James Peak Wilderness? Maybe. Loveland Pass area? Possibly. The land above the Eisenhower Tunnel has been described as important habitat for wolverines to move north/south without having to cross I-70. Why describe it as such if they're not here? Now, somewhere in northern CO, we have a wolverine going through marmots like a hot knife through butter. Sweet! I hope to see one of these foul-smelling creatures some day.

I see one named Axel everyday in the Post living with the Fusco Brothers.
You've never really stopped even if you feel like you have.
