We went up the cables route on Sunday - there were a couple of loose inches on top of hardpack which was a little concerning. In some places the top layer was blown off leaving just super hard snow. We decided to come down the Keyhole route due to snow conditions and there was evidence of recent slide activity.

We climbed Martha yesterday and saw at least 3 parties on Lamb Slide.
It appeared that there was a pretty well worn boot pack along the left side of the couloir.
The snow in the Chasm Cirque was firm in the morning but was VERY soft by 10 am!!!

Descended the Loft last Saturday. Conditions similar to those already posted. Nicely snow filled from Chasm Meadow up past the ramp or headwall couloirs. Was soft for the late morning descent, but would likely have been frozen earlier in the morning.

Up through last weekend, snow conditions would not justify the need for snowshoes/skis for flotation. As another post mentioned, be aware of this weeks snows, and be aware of sloughing that has taken/will take place under warmer skies.
