need new partner

Postby icenrock » Tue Jul 10, 2007 1:00 pm

Hi,
I am an avid Ice climber, love the 14ers here in Colo. Love snowshoeing,
campimg, backpacking, fishing and quiet nights at the fire! I've lost my partner of 6 years!! I need a new partner for the rest of the summer, and
a new belay this winter as well . I am well equiped and a very experianced outdorsman! I am orienteeing and mountaineering experianced, I wont endanger either one of us! I am an experianced first responder and have have wilderness responder training as well. I am into anything outdoors and fun! Gender or experiance dont matter nearly as much as personality and safety! All I want is a new partner,,, fiiends and family either wont go or wont do my sport at my level...

I'd be interested if you are willing to do some mentoring and teaching. I'm usually of alone, but it would be nice to have a partner.

John
Probably nowhere but in Boulder would one encounter strippers who spend there vacations trekking in Nepal.

Kinda reminds me of the Adam Sandler movie:
Whoa whoa whoa, Miss Lippy. The part of the story I don't like is that the little boy gave up looking for [his partner] after an hour. He didn't put posters up or anything, he just sat on the porch like a goon and waited. That little boy's gotta think 'You got a [partner]. You got a responsibility.' If your [partner] is lost you don't look for an hour then call it quits. You get your ass out there and you find that f*cking [partner]!

I've lost many partners over the years, most in a place called suburbia. Tricky place, they can't seem to get off the comfy couches of what I assume is a bar or brothel called Married with Children.

I'm always game for partners, especially ice! I have a regular group of ice climbers that I climb with, you would be welcome!

My regular rock climbing partner (who lives in eldorado springs) is leaving for the Colorado Trail next week and won't be back until sometime in September. I'd probably be game for some rock as well, but I mostly concentrate on the high stuff (mountains :D ).
. . .Now, after the hours of torment . . . I have nothing more to do than breathe . . .I am nothing more than a single, narrow, gasping lung, floating over the mists and the summits.

Good. Mission accomplished. 8)

If you didn't know, it's from the TV sitcom SCRUBS - which has got to be the best show on network TV these days. The full exchange goes something like this:
Dr. Cox: Boy, oh boy, does it look like you pissed off the wrong guy there, crunchy. And trust me, he'll make you pay.

Molly: Oh, Dr. Kelso's all bluster. Underneath it all, I bet he's a sweetheart.

Dr. Cox: No, no. Underneath it all, he is pure evil.

Molly: Perry, no one's pure evil! I mean, yeah, some people have a hard outer shell, but inside, everybody has a creamy center.

Dr. Cox: There are plenty of people here on this particular planet who are hard on the outside and hard on the inside.

Molly: So they'd have more of a nougaty center?

Dr. Cox: Lady, people aren't chocolates. D'you know what they are mostly? Bastards. Bastard-coated bastards with bastard filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive bobble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine.

Molly: I'm touching your creamy center!

Dr. Cox: Ohh, I am...so very angry...that I'm going to find someone to kill...just to prove her wrong. Uhhh.
