Interesting proposition. That could also go in a posting I made several months ago about camp food...

...except for the fact that I've never even seen a real marmot out in the wild, much less tatsed one. I put a picture of a really angry one on my sister's desktop once and password protected it so she couldn't change it. That's the extent of my marmot experience. I'll let you know how they taste after my first 14er (in July). After hearing all these great stories, I fully intend to fashion a spear out of my knife and nab one. Or I might just decide to punt it--in refernece to another topic I read somewhere else in the form.
