Hello 14ers Climbers.
Clearly this is not a Colorado 14er but I thought you might find it interesting in that I found it very similar to Capital or Pyramid Peaks. Carstensz is 16,023 located in Papua New Guinea and is one of the 7 Summits.
Carstensz was my next to the last of the 8, um 7 Summits Climb for Alzheimer's: Memories are Everything where in under 11 months, I summited all but Denali (weather at 17K) to raise $1M for research and increase awareness of Alzheimer's Disease. You can read more and see the entire picture gallery at my [url http://www.alanarnette.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;].
Here is the link to the report I posted today on 14ers

I hope you enjoy the report.

Wow, this guy is amazing. Congratulations on your accomplishment for a great cause. Working on a neuro unit, I see patients with all sorts of conditions, but this disease has to be the most difficult to care for. It is amazing to see someone take on such a great feat and act so casualy about the undertaking while showing so much humility to those you climbed for and their care takers.
