Going to Zurich and have a couple of days to take a side trip. Thinking the Jungfrau area would be a good choice. Would like to finde a non technical but vigorous day hike similar to our class 2 14ers in Colorado. Any suggestions?

Was in Interlaken 2 years ago and if you haven't been, it's unbelievable. We stayed in Wilderswil which is 5 min. outside of Interlaken. Pm for more info. It is by far and away my most favorite area ever visited.Willkommen im Hotel Berghof, CH-3812 Wilderswil b. Interlaken

Just an FYI, but Grindlewald is a nice gateway but alot like Estes Park(no offense) as it is very touristy.Gimmelwald and Murren are a must. Excellent hikes from this area as well as an awsome Via Ferrata setup with amazing views of the big 3. Have a great trip.

+1 for Gimmelwald...a lot of cool hikes from there...Murren.... if you're interested in "touristy" places, you can't
beat Grindlewald....two VERY different places.....we were pleasantly surprised to find quite a few other people
lodging and exploring the Gimmelwald area thanks to Rick Steve's recommendations...

Had a blast hiking around the Jungfraujoch (Canton of Bern, Switzerland). Google earth it. Very cool. Weather was too rainy and snowy on last day so had to move down to Interlaken. Thanks for the advice.
