We had a good time, he put up some good pics, and the trip was a blast. 'Nuff said. And what's wrong with a little Capn' in the mountains? Hike with the Monkey before you bash him

This is fun and I'm sure you had fun too. Just making a point... I enjoy looking at TRs, but his mug scares me.

And what's wrong with a little Capn' in the mountains?

Well, of course nothing is wrong with it...but shouldn't you open the bottle first? Just kidding.

Great report and pics. Looks like a fun time was had by all!

I knew all this CO snow couldn't keep you down.

jamie:
Well, 'tis a little hard to keep pouring Captain in one's mouth because the photographer is taking his sweet time

Since we're going backpacking in a couple weeks, we may need more than one pint...

Talus and I have a nice set-up. During the winter, he can escape the Colorado blizzards and glance at the Flagstaff Glacier (Humphreys) from afar, but once the summer gets unbearable down here, I'm heading up to Denver for some mountain air!

OK, I'll excuse it this time...chalk it up to logistics.

I'd think a handle of the Cap'n and a few pints of Hot Damn! should hold you two for a couple of days. Unless of course he's wearing that purple suit...in which case you'd better pack a little extra.

Nice job, guys! It looks like a great time - I'd love to come visit this year and hike this peak!

It's good to know that the Capn' is still out there in the hills. :D

True, the purple suit induces more sweating (especially in the desert!), so we'll need to make sure and pack the 70-proof Hot Damn this time. That weak stuff he uses as morning mouthwash may not cut it...

Jen:
You and Scott are always welcome to come down! Tanya was missing you this weekend as she was stuck up in the mountains with 4 guys for a couple of days  Hope all is well in Boulder!

Wyo -

I will seriously consider it. My brother is in Tempe and it would be great to get down and visit him. Give my best to Tanya!
